This October marks GeoEnviro Solutions’ 5th Anniversary, celebrating five years of delivering trusted geotechnical and environmental services across the UK. Since our founding, we’ve grown steadily as a specialist ground investigation company in the UK, building a reputation for quality work and a hands-on approach. As we look back on our journey, we’re proud to share key engineering milestones and projects that have shaped our progress, as well as the memorable experiences that define Team GeoEnviro.
Rob Lewis – Managing Director
Favourite memory: Travelling to the island of St Helena for a major project and experiencing Africa.
Standout project: Setting up our screw pile capability and successfully delivering sites using this new technique.
Funniest moment: “Getting a towed toilet block stuck with a broken axle at an Airbnb in Scotland — and spending the weekend fixing it… all for a toilet!”
Sue Ellis – Associate Director
Favourite memory: Buying our very first piece of equipment — a gas monitor — when we moved into our premises. “It was a proud milestone that made everything feel real.”
Standout project: Managing Bunkers Hill Farm from start to finish in 2022 — from drilling and sampling to gas monitoring and permit surrender with the Environment Agency. “It was new territory for us, and my waste management background came in handy!”

Favourite moment: Being shortlisted at the Geotechnical Awards for our collaborative research project.
Standout project: Inclinometer and groundwater monitoring on steep hills — where our measurements had a real impact on local residents’ safety.
Unforgettable moment: “Slipping my way down a slope and finishing the day covered in sticky plants. Unforgettable!”
